Do I need to keep the Pool Auto Fill in my pool all the time?

Some users keep Pool Auto Fill in their pool all the time. Others prefer to fill their pool, remove Pool Auto Fill, and store it out of sight.

Does the water stay on all the time?

Yes, you can keep the water on all the time to keep your pool at the full level. A valve will keep the water from continuously filling the pool so that it only fills when the level is down.

Is electricity needed to run the pool filler?
No. The black box has a valve that opens when your
water is low allowing water to flow into your pool. When full the valve closes.
What should I use to anchor Pool Auto Fill onto the pool deck?
The designer weighted pillow products provide anchoring weight. If you purchase the Nautical Basic use sand, stones, or up to a 6” X 6” paver. We recommend putting whatever material you use into the
included “pillow” liner and then into the nylon pillow. Avoid organic material as they mold and decompose.
Do I need a special hose?
No. Any hose will work. But a white RV hose, available at Walmart, that lays flat will work better. Another option is using a hose swivel or elbow between the black box and hose.
